“Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of moments.” - Rose Kennedy
Life is too short. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can. Apologize when you should. And let go of what you can’t change. Love deeply and forgive quickly. Take chances, give everything and have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy. You have to take the good with the bad. Smile when you’re sad. Love what you got and always remember what you had. Always forgive, and never forget. Learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change and things go wrong, but always remember life goes on.

“And will I tell you that these three lived happily ever after? I will not, for no one ever does. But there was happiness. And they did live.” - Stephen King

This was crazy, Rebekah thought to herself as she walked steadily down the sandy aisle carrying her small bouquet of flowers. Each step seemed to take a lifetime to complete. Even for an Original, she really couldn’t believe that this was where her life had led her, to this moment. She was surrounded by friends, people in her life that she never thought she would see again after she had left Mystic Falls but were all gathered in this place together once more. It seemed like just yesterday that she was getting ready to finish her senior year of high school.

He wasn’t sure when his entire life had shifted. A very good argument could have been made for the moment when he’d snapped the neck of his friend’s mother, but he was certain it must have been before that. He had been so self-assured back then, but it had all been an act. Making people believe he had all the confidence and power in the world had ultimately made him believe it as well. Perhaps that had something to do with his downfall. He was not as strong, not as well-off as he had always believed. It had been foolish to think that making a deal with the devil himself would make his life easier. It hadn’t won him anything, in the end. Chuck Bass had lost.

To show me my home

Where I belong”Sunlight creeps between the blinds, laying zebra stripes across the the two sleeping bodies and warming the skin that is naturally so cold. Chase inhales sharply through his nose, one eye cracking open before he squeezes them both closed tightly and buries his head in firey red hair. As the last of sleep slowly slips from his foggy mind, he clings tightly to the girl in his arms, no longer alarmed at the chill in her skin or the lack of pulse under the soft skin of her wrist when his fingers fall across it.
